Համերգային ծրագիրը ներկայացնում է <<Սայաթ-Նովա>> աշուղական երգի վաստակավոր անսամբլը: Գեղ.ղեկավար` ՀՀ վաստակավոր արտիստ Թովմաս Պողոսյան:
Այսօր Հայաստանի Ազգային պատկերասրահում պահպանվում է ժամացույցների հետաքրքիր հավաքածու: Այն ներառում է 18-20-րդ դդ. բուխարու, սեղանի, հատակի, գրպանի և ճամփորդական ժամացույցների օրինակներ` մեխանիզմների և պատյանների տեսակային մեծ բազմազանությամբ: Դրանք հետաքրքրություն են ներկայացնում ժամացույցների զարգացման պատմության էջերում իրենց գեղարվեստական և կատարողական մեծ արժեքով:Ցուցահանդեսի բացմանը ներկա էին ՀՀ մշակույթի նախարար Հ. Պողոսյանը, նախարարի տեղակալ Գ. Գյուրջյանը: Բացման խոսքով հանդես եկավ ՀԱՊ-ի տնօրեն Փարավոն Միրզոյանը, ՀԱՊ-ի փոխտնօրեն արվեստաբան Հասմիկ Հարությունյանը, դեկորատիվ կիրառական արվեստի բաժնի պետ Անուշ Հակոբյանը:
The first festival of young composers (producer, actor, and theatrical painter) was organized in 2006 by the initiative of Yervand Ghazanchyan, president of the Armenian Union of Theatrical Artists.
The Second Republican was dedicated to the young producers and was held in Gymuri in 2007.
Gyumri, the second city of the Republic of Armenia lived a theatrical life during the days of the festival. The performances were filled with interesting explorations and professional discussions.
Today 11 national minorities (Asorians, Belarusians, Germans, Yezdis, Kurds, Jews, Greeks, Poles, Russians, Ukrainians, and Georgians) live in Armenia. By the initiative of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia already for the seventh time organizes national minorities’ decorative applied art exhibition. The organization of the exhibition has already become a tradition and its mission is to enhance the cultural development, to maintain the traditional folk compositions and arts, to explore new talents as well as to present the culture of the national minorities to the public. 
For the revealing of talented young singers in the sphere of classical musical art, encouragement of their professional potential, future display of abilities and talents as well as for high memory of Gohar Gasparyan the First Republican Competition of Vocalists after USSR folk artists, USSR and ՀԽՍՀ hero of socialistic work, laureate of USSR and ՀԽՍՀ State Award, Professor Gohar Gasparyan was held from November 17 – December 14, 2008.
The number of applicants for the competition is 49; from musical and art colleges of the Republic, graduate and PhD students of the State Conservatory as well as professional singers of the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiaryan.
The concert was held on November 16, 2008 at the National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet after A. Spendiaryan. Famous opera singer, folk artist of the Republic of Armenia Barsegh Toumanyan was awarded with a gold medal of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Armenia on his 50th Anniversary for significant acquirements. David Ghazaryan, the president of the Musical Company of Armenia has congratulated Barsegh Toumanyan with the Musical Company’s medal “Komitas”. The message from S. Sarajyan, the Rector of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory addressed to Barsegh Toumanyan announced the bestowing the title of a “Professor” of the Yerevan Komitas State Conservatory.
“The Foundation of the Artistic Education” of the Ministry of Culture from November 12 – 18, 2008 will be holding open master classes for the teachers of Art and Musical Schools in Kotayq, Aragatsotn, Ararat, Armavir and Yerevan. Around 400 participants will partake in this project representing the following specialties – art, music, and dance.
The classes will take place at the musical school named after A. Spendiaryan for the teachers of music, at the arts school named after Kojoyan for the teachers of art and for the teachers of dance, the classes will be held at the Yerevan State Dance College.
Լրացավ Հայաստանի կամերային նվագախմբի հիմնադիր, ղեկավար, արվեստի վաստակավոր գործիչ, պրոֆեսոր Զարեհ Սահակյանցի ծննդյան 75-ամյա հոբելյանը:
Այսօր, Բաղրամյան 68 հասցեում բացվեց Զ. Սահակյանցի հուշատախտակը: Այնտեղ էին հավաքվել նրա արվեստի երկրպագուները, աշակերտները, գործի շարունակողներն ու բարեկամները` գնահատանքի և երախտիքի իրենց խոսքը հղելու վաստակաշատ արվեստագետին ու ուսուցչին: 
“Toumanyan Visits Isahakyan” this is the title of the joint theatrical event initiated by the Ministry of Culture of Armenia, Hovhannes Toumanyan’s museum, exhibition centre in Yerevan and Gyumri’s Avetiq Isahakyan’s museum and memory house. The initiation was implemented in Gyumri on November 9th within the project called, “Museum on the Wheels” and was dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the earthquake.
With joint efforts of the Ministry of Culture of Armenia and the Union of Armenian Cinematographers the 50th anniversary of the Union of Armenian Cinematographers was celebrated at the big autiorium of the Moscow cinema.
Minister H. Poghosyan, the deputy minister David Muradyan, and the president of the Union of Armenian Cinematographers Ruben Gevorgyants welcomed the participants with greeting words and speeches.
On November 6, 2008 a gala concert was held at the Philharmonic Music House after Komitas. The participants of the concert were in fact the young saxophonists who have recorded notable results during the competition.
